Framebook allows for casting of Facebook albums [Chromecast App of the Day]
One of the coolest things about the Chromecast is being able to cast pictures from your device to your TV. Framebook lets you cast your Facebook albums to your tv.
It’s a very simple and easy to use app: you connect the app to your Chromecast, select any album that you have access to on Facebook and the pictures are cast to your screen. You can select the time that each picture is displayed by either 3,5,10 or 20 seconds.
This app also has a slightly creepy in-app purchase. For $1.99, you can cast any album from any of your friends. I can’t really think of a reason to cast any of my friends albums on my TV, it just seems odd. Another issue I had was that I couldn’t choose which pictures I wanted to cast. It only lets you cast every picture in the album.
