HP's super-thin, all-metal Chromebook 13 is a stunner
HP on Thursday rolled out a new Chromebook that offers more glitz and glamour than you might expect, or need. Dubbed the Chromebook 13, it’s a brushed anodized unit that measures a mere 0.5-inches thick and weighs in at 3.86 pounds. As you can imagine, it’s among the thinnest and lightest in the space.
Powered by an Intel six-generation Core m7 processor, the Chromebook 13 packs up to 16GB RAM, and boasts a 13.3″ 3,200 x 1,800 pixel display. Storage is pegged at 32GB internally; other specs include an 11.5 hour battery, an optional USB-C docking station. Snap into that and you’ll turn the portable device into a desktop-like experience with more USB 3.0 ports and support for dual displays.
The HP Chromebook 13 starts at $499 and can be pre-ordered immediately.
