The latest dev update to Chrome OS brought a much wanted feature. Based on a recent post from a Google Chrome Evangelist named, Fran├žois Beaufort, the newest feature will let you cast any videos stored in Google Drive directly to Chromecast. To try this feature: go to the Google Drive Section in your Files app, find the movie you want to play, then select the google cast icon in the video player.

Since this feature is in the dev channel, the least stable channel available in Chrome, be aware that the build will probably have bugs in it. If this is a feature is something you have been waiting for, go for it.

Let us know what you think of this Chrome OS feature in the comments. What other feature would you like to see for Chrome OS?
