Photowall for Chromecast[App of the day]

photowall

Just released yesterday by Google’s Creative Labs, Photowall is an all new photo experience unlike any other.  It turns your Chromecast-connected tv into an interactive photo gallery and also creates a YouTube video when you’re finished.

Photowall will allow you to draw all over the pictures and just have fun with them!  It’s nice to have an interactive gallery that your friends can jump on and upload their favorite moments.  Photowall is still in its infancy, just born yesterday, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see some more effects and expansions.

When you open the app, it connects your device to the specified Chromecast, then makes its way over to Chrome where you can upload/take pictures and throw them onto your tv.  It is relatively simple, I just would have thought that everything would have taken place within the app itself, but no big deal.

You can use it across a multitude devices including from Android/iOS devices and even your laptop.  Check it out and let us know what you think!
