Stream local and cloud pictures and videos to Chromecast using Dayframe

Until Chromecast functionality is natively baked into the system apps, the ability to cast content to your big screen will be limited to those officially supported apps. Luckily, third party apps have begun springing up that bridge that compatibility gap.

This is where Dayframe steps in, enabling your local and cloud pictures and videos to be streamed via Chromecast. Dayframe supports most photo sharing services to provide a ongoing slideshow of friends, family, and interests. Browse and share photos between Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Google+, Dropbox, Flickr, Twitter, 500px, and more.

Dayframe is extremely easy to use and a very intuitive and attractive user interface. Hit up the link below to try it for yourself.

Great article Dan. For those who live outside US like me, you can access Netflix, Hulu and similar media stations on your Chromecast by using UnoTelly or similar tools.
